Finding the right location
is paramount to the success or failure to any business, especially a new one.
It can make or break you. You will need to have both strong road and foot
traffic passing your door on a regular basis, however high footfall often means
prime location with higher rates and rents, so make sure your business plan can
support this or a compromise maybe required. Key things to look consider will
include size of premises, location, footfall, rents and of course shop
availability in your desired location. So I would suggest you fully research
and speak to traders and consumers in and around your desired location, carry
out surveys on the street, find out where they shop and why, you never know you
may come across a little gem of an area that suits your needs perfectly.
