If your shop interiors are looking tires and you do not or
cannot spend too much money on them what should you do; For years I worked in
independent stores; we were always working on a tight budget so here are a few
of my tips. Generally speaking shop interiors look tired because they are
either out of date or just very grubby and tatty through just wear and tear. So
firstly give everything a very thorough good clean. A pot of paint only cost
£30 no excuses for chipped walls and tatty skirting boards. Rub those skirting
boards down, fill those holes and paint… you’ll be amazed what a fresh coat of
paint will achieve. Look at adding wallpaper to one wall, create a feature
behind the cash desk, even the most expensive wallpapers can be brought at
under £100 a roll and same for as little as £10 in the oddment bin at your
local DIY centre; so hunt around.
